16th September ‘25: hippo gestation

As of today, it’s 8 months until race day. A quick google tells me that’s roughly the gestation period of a hippo; well – if a hippo can grow a fully formed mini hippo in that time, surely that’s plenty of time for me to get ready? (Thankyou John for some helpful perspective)
